Summer is finally here, lockdown has eased and we look forward to welcoming you back to north Norfolk. Before traveling, please read the lastest official Government guidelines relating to COVID-19 and check ahead to see any new procedures local businesses have put in place (such as advanced ticketing) so you're in the know before you go. Please follow measures put in place in our towns, countryside and coast and act with consideration for those around you for the duration of your visit. That way, we can all respect, protect and enjoy north Norfolk, and the people who live and visit here, and enjoy summer safely. See you soon.

Imagine taking a journey back in time to a day when early humans roamed the land and encountered amazing megafauna as part of daily life. Well, you can experience exactly that virutally, by watching our Deep History Coast film. See the journey along the Discovery Trail with Discovery Points along the way which trigger our Deep History Coast app and bring the past back to life before your very eyes! You can look forward to exploring museums and exhibitions, go fossil hunting and immerse yourself in the Discovery Zone at the Visitor Centre.

North Norfolk, home to the Deep History Coast, has a unique coastline of unspoilt, award-winning beaches including Holkham, Wells-next-the-Sea and Brancaster, and Blue Flag beaches in Sheringham, Cromer, Mundesley, Sea Pallng and East and West Runton.
